The 5 Ton Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting product to our customer’s locations safely and on time.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime as required

They must have good organizational skills, excellent customer service, a professional attitude and appearance. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Job Duties
- Check Vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment are in good working order.
- Handle company equipment properly; follow written driver safety rules, and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Maintain vehicles cleanliness.
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles.
- Check conditions of truck/trailer after contents have been unloaded to ensure that there has been no damage.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oils, fuel, or radiator fluid.
- Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate.
- Ability to complete assigned work in allotted time.
- Work overtime as needed.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve service issues.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, company policy, and delivery paperwork.
- Obtain customers signature on invoice as proof of delivery.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Hiring Requirements**:

- We require 2 years of verifiable 5 ton or class 1 experience.
- We require a clean commercial driver's abstract and criminal record search.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and hand bomb products into customer stores.
- Have a professional attitude and appearance.
- High energy, motivated person with excellent customer service skills.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.

- Overtime as required.
