**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage practices
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure safe food handling
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating needs to management

**Experience**
- Previous experience in a culinary role, preferably as a Line Cook or similar position
- Dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Experience in food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation practices
- Proficient knife skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Background in the food industry or restaurant environment is highly desirable

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: From $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 44 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Every Weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
