**Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks, ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Follow food safety guidelines and best practices for food handling to ensure the health and safety of guests.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to the kitchen manager.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setting up stations for service and cleaning up after shifts.

**Skills**
- Experience in the restaurant or food industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing menus or special dietary requests.
- Basic cooking skills with a willingness to learn new techniques and recipes.
