**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals and ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to food safety will help us maintain our high standards.

**Duties**
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
- Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and instructions from the head chef.
- Ensure all food is prepared according to health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and storage areas.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper food handling techniques and safety protocols.

**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations within the food industry.
- Experience in food handling and preparation in a restaurant or similar environment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
