Our BOH teams day to day normally consists of a combination of baking production, ingredient prep, along with making brunch orders as they come in. The lead cook role will be more weighted toward keeping on top of ingredient stock, prep management, working on seasonal features, brunch service, and supporting any needs for helping the lead baker. Some baking prep is involved. This is typically a self-governing role, working in tandem with the other lead (at the other location), with some cross over, together you will regulate the bake & food programs jointly

**Day to day looks like**:

- .production of ingredient stock for brunch menu
- .keeping stock of raw ingredients, recipes
- .preparing brunch orders as they come in
- .liasing with the FOH team & manager
- .assisting/back up with seasonal beverages when req
- .keeping the BOH/kitchen area organised and clean based
- .recipe testing in the downtime for seasonals/features
- .liaising with vendors and running a lean inventory
- .following systems/schedules
- maintaining bake stock in the downtime & assisting lead baker needs.

**Although you will work in tandem with the Lead baker as well there is a lot of solo work involved in the day to day in terms of being part of the BOH.**

Having 2 locations soon, a bonus would be the ability to work at either location. Applications missing either resume or CV may not be considered.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
