**Grounds Labourer**

The Grounds Labourer positions is a key member of the Greens Team. Reporting to Golf Course Operation Manager, the Grounds Labourer will be responsible for all aspects of the Club’s outdoor maintenance operations. The Grounds Labourer plays a key role as the background hero for the Club, ensuring that the grounds at Bloomington Downs meet our standards.

**Responsibilities**:
Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive service while supporting fellow colleagues

Expertly follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards

Follow all safety and sanitation procedures

Operate equipment and power tools, including utility vehicles, mowers, and tractors

Ensure all equipment is clean and in safe working order

Immediately report equipment problems and/or failures

Mow, trim, irrigate and fertilize turf areas

Edge, rake, and maintain sand traps and cart paths

Set tee markers and hole placement on tee boxes and greens

Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:
Must enjoy working outside is all weather conditions

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities

Ability to work cohesively with other teammates and with little supervision

Highly responsible, reliable and punctual

Previous maintenance or landscaping experience a strong asset

**2 shifts assignments available**

6am - 11am

6am - 1:30pm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.55-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 44 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
