**We are looking for a talented individual ** To join our team as a Support Specialist Co-op to help deliver a residential Demand Response program in Ontario. Demand Response is a growing program offering across Canada that allows utilities manage energy during periods of peak demand; allowing for a more reliable and adaptable energy supply. We are a collaborative team who are dedicated to delivering and advancing Demand Response programs. As a Support Specialist Co-op, you will work with the public to support their journey through enrolment and participation in our Demand Response programs. You will handle incoming communications and support the management of program data.
**This is a 4 month co-op placement starting in May and ending in August.**
**You’re a great fit if you can**
- Respond to customer inquiries across channels, resolving challenges with scripts and knowledge.
- Identify customer needs, provide solutions, and cross-promote products.
- Make outbound calls to program applicants as needed.
- Accurately document customer interactions in the database.
- Aim for first-call resolution in every interaction.
- Support customer account maintenance processes.
- Contribute to process improvements in a collaborative environment.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and maintain professionalism in all settings.
- Learn new tasks and meet utilization goals set by your supervisor.
- Actively support and develop the CLEAResult culture.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required.
- Active enrollment in a post-secondary education program in either Business, Administration, or Environment
- Previous customer service experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
**Compensation**:
$23/h
**Compensation Range**
$17.30 - $27.70

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
