**Steel Detailing Project Manager**

**Job Type**: Full-Time, Permanent

We are looking for an experienced Steel Detailing Project Manager to oversee the production and completion of large-scale projects. Being a multi-tasker with excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills would be best. You could effectively manage a team to finish their work efficiently and within deadlines. At the start of each project, you will collaborate with other department heads to discuss the scope and budget. Then you will monitor each phase, ensuring the staff works efficiently and that the final product meets our client’s expectations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate with fabricators, engineers, and architects to meet project requirements.
- Manage RFIs and Change Orders
- Prepare drawing packages and issue them to the client per scheduled delivery dates.
- Work directly with the operations director to ensure client satisfaction.
- Determine project roles, responsibilities, and deadlines for each team member.
- Ensure the project is completed effectively, on time, and within budget.
- Coordinate changes and be willing to adapt if necessary.
- Keep teams committed, motivated, and productive throughout the project

**Qualifications**:

- Advanced level of knowledge of Tekla Structures
- 3-5 years of prior experience in project management is desired
- Experience in structural and miscellaneous steel construction and fabrication and the ability to read drawings
- Proven project management and coordination skills
- Self-motivated and able to complete multiple tasks with mínimal guidance
- Deadline-driven with an attention to detail

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/certificate
- Canadian Citizenship/Legally able to work in Canada
