As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced **Electrical and Building Controls Estimator** to join our dynamic team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Review project specifications, drawings, and bid documents to determine scope and requirements.
- Estimate costs for electrical and building automation systems, including materials, labor, and subcontractor pricing.
- Develop and submit competitive bids, proposals, and cost estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and sales teams to develop project budgets and timelines.
- Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value-engineering solutions.
- Work with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and availability.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends, products, and technologies.
- Assist in project handovers by providing clear and organized cost documentation.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in estimating for electrical and/or building automation projects.
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and automation technologies.
- Familiarity with Honeywell Building Automation Systems and Niagara N4 (preferred).
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- **Soft Skills**:

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
- Team-oriented with a proactive approach to work.
