Let’s make a difference in fire protection—together. **Position Summary**: We’re seeking a **Shop Foreman/Woman** with experience in the fire protection industry and a strong grasp of industry standards and terminology. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented, organized professional with strong communication skills. **Primary Responsibilities**: - Organize shop resources, maintaining an efficient, well-structured workspace. - Oversee ordering and inventory control to ensure parts are available when needed. - Coordinate with technicians and suppliers to facilitate timely and seamless parts pick-ups. - Develop and implement process improvements to streamline shop operational efficiency. - Ensure compliance with industry standards in alignment with our commitment to reliable and eco-friendly fire protection services. - Repair service equipment where required. - Transport parts and equipment to and from various sites as needed. **Qualifications**: - Prior experience in the fire protection industry - Valid **G Drivers License** with clean driving abstract - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Strong communication capabilities - Capable of working both independently and collaboratively - Mechanically inclined and physically able - with familiarity in using hand tools. - Self-motivated, punctual with a good understanding of the English language. **What We Offer**: - **Competitive Benefits**: Enjoy competitive wages, health and dental coverage, and access to insured work vehicles. - **Growth and Development**: Comprehensive training, in person and through our online education portal.
