ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Review shop drawings, as received from Department Manager, and determine production requirements, specifications of products, and scheduled delivery dates.
- Plan production operations, establish priorities and sequences for manufacturing products, and coordinate activities with Estimators/Project Managers.
- Schedule work assignments with lead production workers on a daily and weekly basis.
- Review production and operating reports and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to minimize costs and prevent operational delays.
- Compile and produce production reports, production schedules, and exception reports weekly or when required by changes or substantial problems.
- Advise Marble Department Manager of all marble quality issues.
- Purchase supplies and equipment up to established budget limits.
- Maintain all machinery and equipment in good working condition, using either shop repair personnel or outside repair shops.
- Develop or revise standard operational and working practices.
- Hire, train, evaluate, and discipline all reporting employees.
- Observe employees to ensure compliance with standards and technologies.
- Assist employees in completion of more difficult tasks.
- Monitor employee progress in completing assigned jobs.
- Ensure marble shop is maintained, neat, clean and organized.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Direct minor facilities repairs as needed.
- Ensure marble shop is maintained, neat, clean and organized.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
