Edmonton, Canada Bird Nason Contracting Group Full time

Bird Nason Contracting Group is seeking Journeyperson Pipefitters for various jobs in Alberta and British Columbia. Travel and LOA are available if applicable.

**Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:

- Process piping and equipment installations.
- Threading, Cutting, Grooving, Bending, Measuring of piping.
- Working with plans and specifications to determine layout and installation requirements.
- Hydrostatic testing of installed piping systems.
- Ensuring safe work practices, EH&S processes, and OH&S compliance are followed on site.

**Desired Skills and Experience**:

- To be considered for this position you must be a registered Journeyperson in the trade of Steamfitter-Pipefitter.
- Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work.
- Experience on major industrial project sites.
- The ability to lift, carry, and handle weight up to 50lbs.
- Must be organized, self-driven, and understand and execute oral and written instructions.
