**Position Overview**
As General Manager / Site Manager, you will lead and grow our Montreal ground‑support maintenance outstation, overseeing all operational, technical, customer‑service, compliance, and financial aspects. You’ll ensure seamless integration with our Toronto hub to deliver safe, reliable, and cost‑effective GSE services while cultivating strong client relationships and driving continuous improvement.

**Reporting To**:Regional Director of Maintenance

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Leadership & Operations**
- Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize the Montreal outstation’s performance
- Provide daily direction, coaching, and support to technical and administrative teams
- Foster effective communication with the Toronto hub for parts procurement, billing, and system integration
- Implement continuous‑improvement initiatives to boost productivity, quality, and safety
- Maintain full compliance with airport regulations, safety standards, and company policies
- Align staffing levels and schedules to operational demands while controlling labor costs

**2. Customer Engagement & Business Development**
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, airlines, and ground‑handling partners
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Montreal market
- Negotiate, finalize, and manage service‑level agreements and contracts
- Ensure accurate documentation of all maintenance activities to support timely and correct billing
- Monitor local market trends and competitor offerings to inform growth strategies

**3. Financial Management**
- Hit or exceed revenue and profitability targets for a $2.5 million P&L
- Track and control operational expenses without compromising service quality
- Guarantee that billable hours and parts usage are recorded precisely in EBIS
- Manage parts inventory and markup policies to maximize ROI
- Collaborate with regional leadership to develop and oversee the annual operating budget

**4. Technical Oversight**
- Verify that all maintenance and repairs meet OEM specifications and in‑house quality standards
- Oversee the preventive‑maintenance program to minimize equipment downtime
- Ensure work orders accurately reflect labor and parts utilization in EBIS
- Stay up to date on emerging GSE technologies and industry best practices
- Mentor and develop technicians through structured training and skills development

**5. Human Resources & Team Development**
- Recruit, onboard, and retain skilled technical and administrative staff
- Conduct regular performance reviews and deliver constructive feedback
- Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and customer focus
- Ensure all team members are proficient with EBIS and other required systems
- Address employee concerns promptly, maintaining high morale and engagement

**Qualifications**

**Required**
- Minimum 8 years’ GSE maintenance experience, including ≥3 years in a supervisory or management role
- In‑depth technical knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical GSE systems
- Hands‑on experience with maintenance‑management software (EBIS preferred)
- Proven track record managing budgets and P&L responsibilities
- Excellent customer‑relationship and negotiation skills
- Strong leadership abilities with experience motivating cross‑functional teams
- Valid driver’s license and airside driving credentials
- Willingness to travel occasionally to Toronto for meetings and training

**Preferred**
- Strong technical background with GSE
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French
- Experience in a multi‑site maintenance organization
- Familiarity with airport operations and regulatory frameworks
- Post‑secondary education in management, aviation maintenance, or a related technical field

**Compensation & Benefits**
- **Base Salary**: CAD 100,000 - 140,000 (commensurate with experience)
