Reporting to the Global Chief Product Officer, this role is pivotal in driving AI adoption and transformation across Modaxo, ensuring that AI technologies are effectively integrated into our operations and product offerings to create new business value. The Head of AI will launch and grow the AI Practice at Modaxo, which will encompass developing and scaling AI solutions, and evaluating AI tools and platforms for the business. Additionally, this role will be responsible for developing and executing change management plans that enable the adoption of AI within Modaxo’s business units, to foster operational excellence and product innovation that will deliver long-term growth for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive AI strategy aligned with Modaxo’s business goals and objectives.
- AI Adoption: Lead initiatives to promote the adoption of AI technologies across the organization, ensuring appropriate and responsible AI use utilized to enhance operational excellence and customer experience.
- Innovation and Transformation: Drive innovation by identifying and implementing AI-driven solutions that transform business processes and create new opportunities for growth.
- AI Center of Excellence: Launch and grow the AI Center of Excellence at Modaxo, focusing on developing and scaling AI solutions, and evaluating AI tools and platforms for the business.
- Governance: Guide the efforts of Modaxo’s AI Governance Board and other related entities tasked with leading the organization’s cross-functional AI policies and efforts.
- Skill Development: Help develop the product and engineering resource skillsets with AI within Modaxo’s business units, fostering product innovation that will deliver long-term organic growth for the business.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, data science and business leaders to ensure seamless integration of AI technologies.
- Talent Development: Build and lead a high-performing AI team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, customers, and partners, to communicate the value and impact of AI initiatives and Modaxo’s approach to responsible AI use.
- Performance Measurement: Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the success and impact of AI initiatives, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives.
- Legal and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that AI initiatives are developed and deployed in an ethical and responsible manner, and compliant with local laws by collaborating with legal and compliance experts to navigate the complex AI regulatory landscape.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Educational Background:

- Master’s Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

- Strong exposure to AI and machine learning, with senior leadership experience.
- Proven track record of leading AI-driven transformation initiatives in a large organization.

Technical Skills:

- Deep understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and data analytics.
- Experience with AI frameworks and tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
