Cmm Operator

Formula Solutions Inc. is currently hiring for the role of CMM Operator in the Quality Department. Prior experience is not necessary but is considered an asset in this position. Training will be provided regardless of experience level.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate Bridge Probing CMM and Arm Scanning CMM with Polyworks, manual and automated
- Measure parts, update databases, create reports; troubleshoot CMM programs and reports
- Certify fixtures and tooling
- Perform CMM equipment verification, maintenance, and troubleshoot issues
- Operation and maintenance of manual measuring equipment (vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.)
- Comply with Quality Assurance policies and procedures, audit production according to policies and procedures
- Ensure the organization, cleanliness, and efficiency of the Quality Department
- Perform other quality inspections as needed (visual checks, procedure witnessing, etc.)

Qualities needed:

- Attention to detail is vital
- Good documentation skills
- Suitable Communication Skills
- Good/Corrected Eyesight

Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

- Must be able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T
- Experience programming Bridge CMM in Polyworks is an asset
- Experience with Solidworks is an asset
- Knowledge of machine shop practices is an asset
- Will be required to independently lift fixtures/tools up to 50lbs
- Post secondary diploma in a technical field
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Reading and interpreting engineered drawings
- Ability to quickly learn new skills

Additional Requirements
- Comfortable working with chemicals and other hazardous materials
- Ability to stand at a workstation for long periods of time

Compensation
- Commensurate with experience

**Salary**: $24.38-$30.76 per hour
