Cold Bore delivers on the desire for Industry Standardized “clean” data foundation for completions’ technology and execution. Offering best practices of industry standardized format and enabling frac operations to be both Effective AND Efficient, not solely focused on NPT and avoiding extra costs, but more so the combined effectiveness with the results leading to better production, as well as efficiency.

**Role Description**:
Cold Bore Technology is seeking an IT Network Administrator to join our growing corporate services team. Reporting to the Controller, you will be responsible for optimizing our existing network infrastructure, setting up and administering new networks when required, maintaining the VPN to ensure security and reliability, providing technical support for end-users, managing network-based resources for the office, and engaging with key stakeholders to troubleshoot and refine IT components and processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain and improve the existing network infrastructure (AD, Entra, Intune, Azure Virtual Desktops, MS O365) for approximately 200 users.
- Implementing new networks as needed (Installing cat6 or fiber optic cabling, patch panels, wall terminations, network switches, etc.).
- Designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing of VPNs.
- Ownership over domain and hybrid joined workstations and peripherals.
- Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Manage network-based resources for the office, including printers, video conference rooms, and unassigned workstations.
- Work closely with key stakeholders and project teams to troubleshoot and optimize IT components and streamline processes.
- Maintain sufficient inventory and operation of Battery backup units.
- Other IT-related ad hoc duties and activities as required.
- Occasional weekend work required when On-Call and for IT-related emergencies.
- Assist with cyber security for Cold Bore assets, including security improvements and risk assessments, upgrading network and infrastructure systems, and implementing and maintaining security controls.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with SOC 2 requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Experience with configuring and installing workstations, network switches, network routers, network cabling, AD and O365 user management (knowledge of Ubiquiti hardware is considered an asset).
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience, including a technology diploma as a minimum requirement.
- Technical certifications such as A+ Hardware and Software, and MCSE, are considered an asset.
- Must be able to adapt to change, problem solve, and use various tools to mount and install equipment.
- Proven experience as an IT Technician with a focus on network administration and industrial IT.
- In-depth knowledge of network protocols, industrial automation, and cybersecurity in industrial settings.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or relevant industrial IT certifications are highly desirable.
- Microsoft Office 365 knowledge (Ad, Entra, Exchange, Defender, etc.).
- SOC2 knowledge and policies experience is considered an asset.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Ability to walk and climb for extended periods of time, and maneuver safety around obstacles.
