We are a Burnaby BC based company, specialized in garment embellishment with 30+ years of experience, known for attention to detail and craftsmanship. We are seeking a skilled **Embroidery Machine Operator** to join our team full time.

DESCRIPTION:
This role involves operating and maintaining embroidery machinery to produce high-quality embroidered garments and products, reading and interpreting work order instructions and design files, communicating and collaborating effectively with the design and production teams to optimize the workflow and product quality, as well as selecting appropriate threads, fabrics, and materials for each project.

- Operating a multi-head embroidery machinery **(BARUDAN)**, performing machine maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal operation. Monitoring process and detecting malfunctions or quality issues. Basic hooping skills and threading the correct colours on the machine.
- Understanding design files and work orders, and having effective communication when modifications are needed.
- Selecting the correct materials for each specific order, having a keen eye for detail.
- Ensuring the finished products meet quality standards and costumer specifications, ensuring all content aligns with our brand and messaging.
- Maintaining a clean work area and storing all materials properly.

**Requirements**:

- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters and timeline given.
- Experience with **BARUDAN** equipment.
- Experience in a fast-paced production environment.
- Must be able to walk/stand for and extended period, lifting and pushing up to 50lbs.
- Effective communication in English; Spanish is an asset.

**Job Type**:

- Full time, 40 hours a week.
- Monday to Friday, Weekends as needed.

**Salary**: Depending on experience.

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
