**Key Areas of Responsibility
Create and maintain Hardt’s technical documentation and illustrations to a professional standard.
Examples include Operations/Installation manuals, Service Bulletins, etc.;

Create and maintain Hardt’s artwork to a professional standard. Examples include serial plates,
overlays, labels, signage, etc.;

Create photo-realistic renderings and animations from 3-D CAD models for use by Sales and
Marketing.

Contribute continuously to the improvement of Hardt’s documentation practices.

**Qualifications
Have a post-secondary degree in a mechanical and/or writing discipline;

Possess a minimum of 1 year Canadian/US industrial experience creating technical documentation
and illustrations for the manufacturing sector;

Must be technically inclined and very familiar with the terminology associated with mechanical
assembly processes, including tools, hardware, common practices, etc.;

Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point and Outlook) and
Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and In-Design);

Must have excellent technical writing skills in English. In addition to English, French or Spanish
would be an asset;

Knowledge of Keyshot rendering software would be an asset;

Knowledge of electro-mechanical devices would be an asset;

The ability to interpret mechanical drawings would be an asset.

**Working Conditions
Working conditions are a combination of office and shop environments;

Regular hours 8:30am to 5:00pm - Monday to Friday (minimum 37.5 hours/week).

**Working Conditions**: Hardt encourages working from home where the type of work permits it at a
maximum of 3 days per week and minimum 2 days in the office. Team members should coordinate with
their Supervisor to assess what is suitable and define best options that respect both employees’ and
business needs and deliverables. Working from home will be possible when fully trained.
