Technical Project Manager

We are a Startup company established in 2020, based in Montreal. Our mission is to provide intelligence to automatically analyze performance data and network configuration to efficiently detect and fix network anomalies in a real time manner. Our company is partnering with Operators in Canada and USA to build such innovative solutions.

**Responsibilities**:
**Agile Leadership**:

- Act as a servant leader of our internal development ream, guiding and coaching Scrum teams in Agile principles and practices.
- Facilitate and lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

**Development Expertise**:

- Utilize development skills to provide guidance on best practices, configuration, and customization.
- Collaborate with developers, end users, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with business requirements and industry standards.

**Project Management**:

- Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to prioritize and groom the product backlog.
- Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring timelines and milestones are met.
- Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact project delivery.

**Collaboration and Communication**:

- Foster effective communication between Scrum team, stakeholders, and cross-functional departments.
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams to ensure a common understanding of goals and priorities.
- Promote a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent is a plus
- Certified Project manager (PMP) or equivalent is a plus
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in IT or in Telecommunication industries
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in Agile development environments.
- Solid understanding of software’s development, configuration, and integration.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven fluency in English
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- You have good data analytical skills
- Experience presenting data in meaningful ways (building reports and dashboards)
- Exposure to data preprocessing, choosing right ML models and optimizing the model parameters to detect KPI anomalies
- You like to work in a team but are fine working on your own when it is needed
- You are very organized, and you document very well your work
- Autonomous, resourceful, excellent capacity for applied learning
- Strong organization, communication, problem solving and time management skills

**Strongly desired skills (if you can code it would be a big plus)**
- Knowledge of various programming languages such as BASH, Python, Shell, etc.
- Experience with provisioning and managing Virtual Machines
- JavaScript Framework Development (REACT/ANGULAR/EXPRESS JS)
- Strong grasp of Python or other coding languages
- Strong Knowledge of GIS mapping and open-source map APIs
- Familiar with Rest APIs and Node.js
- Basic knowledge of ETL processes - parsing XML, filtering data, and loading into database
- Knowledge of SASS/SCSS, HTML5, CSS framework (Material UI/Bootstrap)
- Knowledge of Git workflow
- Knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, Mango DB, MySQL, SQL server)
- Basic understanding of telecom wireless networks (5G technology is a plus)
- Basic understanding of the radio access network of 5G network (RAN)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $57,070.09-$118,520.33 per year
