**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food handling and preparation meets safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen by following proper cleaning protocols for equipment and work areas.
- Experience with Baking, and menu service, fine plating skills
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies, reporting any shortages or needs to the owner.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Strong skills in meal preparation and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Every Weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Food preparation: 5 years (required)
- Kitchen experience: 5 years (required)
- Food industry: 5 years (required)
- Restaurant experience: 5 years (required)
- Food handling: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safety Certification (required)
