Bayshore Healthcare is looking for a Privacy & Health Information Specialist to join our Privacy and Health Information Management team as part of the CQ HIP Portfolio on a 1year remote contract.
- What You’ll Do
- Ensure compliance with federal/provincial privacy legislation and contractual agreements.
- Lead and support privacy incident investigations, breach protocols, and mandatory reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote privacy awareness and best practices.
- Conduct privacy risk assessments and internal audits.
- Support health information management activities including record tracking, retention, and lawful disclosures.
- Contribute to privacy education, training, and vendor agreement reviews.
- **Qualifications**:

- Who You Are
- Certified privacy and/or health information management (CHIM, CIPP/C, CIPM)
- Experienced in privacy legislation, incident management, and project execution.
- A self-starter with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
- Passionate about privacy and eager to stay engaged across diverse initiatives.
