**Seasonal Event Cashier/Coat Check**:

- **Requires availability for late nights on Friday and Saturday evenings through November and December.**_

**Event Cashier/Coat Check Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for selling beverage tickets and/or entrance tickets at various events, as well as working concession tills, event ticket taking, coat check duties
- Issue receipts, refunds, change of tickets
- Maintains accurate count when selling hard tickets or providing accurate counts of computer printed tickets
- Completes daily ticket sales reports. Accurately reconciles balance sheet of cash, debit/credit received and tickets sold; balance sales and cash float and submits cash to Head Cashier for audit
- Provides polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests, responding professionally, promptly, and efficiently to guests’ requests and needs
- Accurately and promptly relays any complaints or potential issues to the Head Cashier
- Able to work independently and handle most box office questions and related tasks with mínimal assistance
- Assist co-workers as required
- Directing guests to necessary services and features
- Observes all safety and quality guidelines

**Event Cashier/Coat Check Requirements**:

- Must have valid Manitoba Smart Choices certification
- A positive and friendly manner
- Previous cash handling experience preferred; good mathematical skills
- Good interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Able to work under pressure among large crowds and various groups
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
- Applicant must be legally entitled to work in Canada. Proof of work or student permit will be required upon hire
