**Responsibilities**:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including medication administration and personal hygiene tasks
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals under your care
- Help with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized environment
- Assist with mobility, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as nurses, to ensure the well-being of residents
**Qualifications**:
- Prior experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of patient care practices and procedures
- Familiarity with working in nursing homes or assisted living facilities is a plus
- Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including heavy lifting
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when interacting with residents
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
**Requirements**:
- Other Relevant trades certificate/diploma or equivalent experience
- COVID-19 full vaccination Proof is a must as per government's guidelines.
- TB Test (Valid and Recent)
- Vulnerable sector check form (Valid and recent)
- Immunization record (complete and valid)
- Other relevant Certificates e.g., CPR and First Aid
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Seasonal
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
