**Wilco Contractors Southwest Inc.** is hiring **Landscape Supervisors/Forepersons, Crew Leads, Lead Hands and Skilled workers for our 2025 Season starting in mid April.**

This is a **full-time, seasonal position.**

**Duties are as follows, but are not limited to;**

**SUPERVISORS/FOREPERSONS;**
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of workers who construct landscape projects, including athletic fields, golf courses projects, parks and greenspaces, and other landscaped construction or landscape maintenance projects.
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, or supervise the operation of equipment by crew members.
- Supervise and work alongside a crew to complete labour works such as planting trees, laying sod, etc.
- Complete daily safety documentation, timesheet input, daily reporting on progress to management. Attend safety courses and meetings, upgrade training as needed regularly. Attend site-specific safety meetings and relay information to the crew to ensure compliance.
- Communicate with project managers, safety managers, and others to complete projects safely and effectively
- Ensure work done by the crew meets specifications of the project
- Complete projects including soft and hard landscaping, such as tree and shrub planting, topsoil placement, sodding and seeding, paving stone installation, retaining walls, concrete works, etc.
- **VALID Drivers License / Own Vehicle is mandatory, as there is no public transit available for our projects.**

**LEAD HANDS/SKILLED LABOURERS;**
- Plant trees and shrubs.
- Prepare topsoil, install sod.
- Install paving stone and hardscape items.
- General landscape maintenance items, such as watering, weeding, pruning, fertilizing, mowing and trimming.
- Assist with various Landscape/Maintenance work in New Communities, Parks, Playgrounds, Golf Courses, etc...
- Laying Sod, Planting / Pruning and Maintaining Trees and Shrubs
- Weed/Plant Removal
- General cleanup & Maintenance
- **VALID Drivers License / Own Vehicle is mandatory, as there is no public transit available for our projects.**
