Canterbury is seeking a highly motivated **P**r**oduction Planner** to support the Operations and Manufacturing teams across Canterbury. As an Operations team member you will join the team in Burnaby, BC. With manufacturing facilities in Richmond, BC and Oakville, ON, this position will involve some travel.
You would be responsible for planning and developing the long-term, monthly, and weekly production schedules for both manufacturing locations and to work cross functionally and collaboratively to achieve on-time service levels of make-to-order (MTO) products and optimal inventory levels of make-to-stock (MTS) products with mínimal write-offs and mínimal stock-outs in the supply warehouses.

This is a pivotal role in optimizing production processes and effective manufacturing operations. You will use system information, customer and seasonal trends and industry knowledge to deliver continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy of manufactured products.

**You have**:

- At least 2 years of equivalent experience with a demonstrated track record of success.
- Post-secondary degree in a related field such as Business or Supply Chain
- Management experience preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CPIM, CSCP preferred.
- Proficient expertise and extensive experience utilizing the full MS Office suite.
- Experience with Dynamics AX would be beneficial.
