**PRIMARY PURPOSE AND FUNCTION**:
The Shipping Picker/Packer is responsible to pick and pack product for shipping.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Formal Education**: High School diploma, an asset.

**Knowledge/Skills**: The position requires a basic understanding of all relevant company procedures. This position requires lifting up to 100 lbs. Advanced motor skills and manual dexterity are needed when dealing with hand tools. The Shipping Picker/Packer must have a cooperative and flexible attitude, strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

**Communication Skills**: The incumbent must possess basic oral and written communication skills in order to communicate with supervisors and co-workers etc. Reading skills are necessary to insure product labels match with labels and job orders.

L**ength & Nature of Prior Experience**: Picking and packing experience is preferred.

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Work in a team to kit and pack barn doors.

2. Responsible to overpack product as required for E commerce shipping.

3. Accurately pick and adequately package orders for shipment.

4. Provides general housekeeping duties, for area of responsibility.

5. Any other related duties that may be requested from time to time by the Team Lead, Distribution Manager or Plant Manager.

**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour
