Beacon Heights Retirement Residence is currently looking for an **Assistant Director of Care** to join our team

As the Assistant Director of Care you will be accountable to the Director of Care for the day to day management of the nursing department and resident care services. You will ensure the delivery of optimal care and services.

**Requirements**:

- Current registration as a RPN at the relevant nurses college
- Possess current First Aid/CPR certificate
- Experience in geriatric, rehabilitation or long-term care nursing is desirable
- Must have knowledge of the nursing process
- Post-graduate studies in geriatrics is desirable
- Must have good leadership and communication skills
- Possession of skill in planning, coordinating, and supervising a comprehensive nursing care program
- Bilingual in English and French is an asset
