Gloucester, Canada Beacon Heights Retirement Residence Full time

As the **Director of Care**, you will comprehensively coordinate and implement resident care programs to ensure each resident's highest quality of life. Your responsibilities include developing and overseeing personalized care plans, leading and managing a healthcare team, maintaining quality assurance and regulatory compliance, and facilitating effective communication with residents and families. You will monitor residents' health and safety, manage the care department's budget, collaborate with other departments, handle crisis management, and promote professional development within the care team. Your role is crucial in creating a nurturing environment that upholds the dignity, health, and happiness of all residents.

**Requirements**:

- Positive motivating leader
- Current registration as Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)
- Sound knowledge of RHRA regulations
- Strong hiring practices
- Current CPR and First Aid.
- Strong nursing background in senior care
- Strong still in planning, coordination and supervising a comprehensive nursing care program.
- Valid drivers license.
- Strong critical thinking
- Must be computer literate.
- Bilingual (preferred)
- Received at least two (2) doses of a Health Canada approved Covid-19 vaccine.
