We’re looking for a skilled **Machinist or Tool & Die Maker** to join our high-performing tooling team. In this role, you’ll use your expertise to design, build, and maintain precision tooling, jigs, fixtures, and gauges that keep our manufacturing running at its best.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- **Build with precision**: Design, machine, and assemble custom tooling, fixtures, jigs, and gauges to support high-quality, high-efficiency production.
- **Adapt and improve**: Modify existing tools and dies to meet production changes, address wear, and improve performance.
- **Collaborate across teams**: Work closely with engineers, machinists, and production staff to develop tooling solutions that meet operational needs.
- **Work to exacting standards**: Operate manual and CNC machines to produce components to tight tolerances, ensuring tooling accuracy and reliability.
- **Support production directly**: Build, set up, and test dies in presses, making fine adjustments for fit and function.
- **Problem-solve on the floor**: Diagnose and resolve tooling-related production issues quickly to minimize downtime.
- **Maintain for longevity**: Inspect, service, and repair tools and dies to ensure consistent performance and extend service life.

**WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL**:

- **Red Seal Machinist or Tool & Die Maker certification** (Interprovincial equivalent accepted) - _This is a firm requirement_
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD models, and engineering drawings
- Proficiency in precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
- Experience with CNC and manual machining operations (CNC programming an asset)
- Knowledge of press setup and die maintenance an asset
- Problem-solving mindset with a commitment to quality and safety
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
