As we continue to grow and evolve, we’re looking for a **National Training Manager** who's excited about creating impactful learning experiences, fostering growth across our franchise network, and ensuring consistent operational standards.
This **full-time, permanent, in-person,** role is based at our **corporate office in Edmonton, AB**, with travel opportunities across Canada and internationally.
**The Opportunity**:
As our National Training Manager, you'll lead the strategic development and delivery of comprehensive training programs across our entire organization. You'll design learning experiences, manage training operations, and ensure our teams have the knowledge and skills they need to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Design and execute a national training strategy that supports organizational growth, people development, and franchise operational success
- Lead comprehensive onboarding programs for new Franchise Partners, Franchise Business Consultants, and Store Management teams
- Develop and maintain all training content including SOPs, digital modules, videos, manuals, and reference materials
- Conduct specialized field support training for non-traditional store formats and unique operational requirements
- Hold monthly training webinars for FBCs and FPs on approved topics and deliver in-person training classes as directed
- Coordinate training support for new store openings, including on-site training and system implementation
- Ensure compliance with brand, food safety, labor, and health and safety regulations across all training programs
- Maintain accurate, auditable training records for corporate staff and franchise partners
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, People & Culture, and other departments to align training initiatives
- Support seamless implementation of Limited Time Offers, R&D initiatives, and IT projects through integrated training
- Conduct field visits to validate training implementation and ensure consistent adherence to standards
- Define KPIs and use data-driven insights to evaluate training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
**What You Bring to the Table**:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5-7 years of experience in a training and development leadership role, ideally within restaurant QSR franchise, retail, or multi-unit environments
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and instructional design skills across in-person and virtual formats
- Deep understanding of compliance training, learning technologies, and adult learning principles
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with video and digital editing software (Descript, VEED, etc.)
- Willingness and ability to travel within Canada and internationally as required
- Bilingual (English/French) capabilities are a strong asset
