Arceo Design + Build is an established Construction Management company with over 30 years experience in high end residential renovation and custom home building in the central Toronto area.

We are looking for an experienced Construction Site Supervisor. Your responsibilities would include overseeing all trades and effectively managing the daily on-site activities of our projects as well as performing all required hands-on construction activities. You would have to be a team player, with excellent communication and leadership skills, and have the ability to engage and professionally interact with company employees, subcontractors and clients.

The functions of this role include but are not limited to the following duties:

- Must be able to physically work to complete task not under the direct contract of sub contractors
- Overseeing the construction trades to ensure they meet performance and quality standards
- Identifying and being competent to complete tasks not included in construction trade's contracts
- Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications
- Responsible for adherence to construction site safety standards and our Company's Construction Safety policy
- Providing input to the project scheduling to improve construction efficiencies
- Order materials and scheduling inspections as required throughout the project
- Maintain and monitor the daily progress of the construction schedule.
The qualifications for this role would include:

- A Minimum of five years of hands-on experience working in residential construction and renovation through all phases of construction in a supervisory role
- Knowledge of construction methods from project commencement through to project completion
- Strong understanding of construction documentation, specifications, drawings, construction techniques and building systems
- Demonstrate ability to prioritize tasks and meet scheduled deadlines
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and effectively on multiple tasks
- Have a working knowledge of all rules, regulation, policies and local building code (Ontario)
- Current WHMIS, Fall Protection, working at heights and First Aid certificates
- Must have a valid driver's license, is legally entitled to work and drive in Ontario and must have access to a vehicle to travel to and from project locations

**Salary**: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
