**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests here at Georgian Downs Race Track. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality service, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for the food industry. This is a seasonal part time position with our restaurant operating on Saturday and Sunday from June until September.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while adhering to food safety standards.
- Manage multiple tables and ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining high service standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, including processing payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Assist in training new staff members on food handling procedures and customer service expectations.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and ability to maintain sanitation standards.
- Experience with cashiering and cash handling is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for the food industry and commitment to enhancing the guest experience.
