Your Opportunity:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Administrative Support III for our Edmonton Zone Diagnostic Imaging Central Scheduling Team This position is accountable to the Manager of EZ Central Scheduling, Projects, and Initiatives for the effective performance of numerous clerical duties relative to the scheduling of Diagnostic Imaging exams at sites across the Edmonton Zone. As an Administrative Support III in this department, you will be required to provide accurate and efficient transcription of Diagnostic Imaging requisitions while assembling the required documentation for exam screening, protocolling, and prioritization. The Administrative Support in this position will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks to support patient appointment notification by processing physical paper mail, managing faxes, and communicating with patients in a timely and accurate manner with various dates, times and instructions related to their Diagnostic Imaging exam. A high degree of tact, diplomacy and patience is required as many of these patients can be in a stressed and unwell state. Accuracy is required to ensure that order entry is completed according to provincial guidelines and that all pertinent information is entered, relayed and understood by patients.
