Our streamlined process ensures efficiency from design to construction, and we are looking for a Project Manager to help drive our continued growth and expansion.
**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage the permitting process in coordination with our design team.
- Oversee and coordinate consultants, subcontractors, and external builders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor and maintain project budgets and schedules, ensuring financial accountability.
- Ensure seamless coordination between manufacturing and on-site construction in collaboration with external builders and contractors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing communications and setting clear expectations.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, and quality control standards.
- Organize and maintain project documentation, including folders, specifications, and reports.
- Work closely with our accounting team to produce and track project invoices.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Foster strong relationships with external Builders and ensure seamless execution of on-site construction in collaboration with contractors.
**Skills & Qualifications**
- 6+ years of experience in construction management, project management, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, permitting processes, and budgeting.
- Field experience in construction is strongly preferred.
- Strong computer skills (JobTread knowledge is an advantage but not required).
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Experience coordinating with Builders and subcontractors in both manufacturing and on-site assembly phases.
**Ability to commute/relocate**
- Victoria, BC V8V 3K5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**
- in the field Construction: 2 years (preferred)
- Project management: 4 years (required)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $75,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
