We are hiring an experienced skid steer operator for commercial and industrial snow clearing for the upcoming 2024-25 winter season in Edmonton. Some job responsibilities and requirements include:
Safely load, secure, and unload equipment on flat deck trailer. Drive truck and trailer from shop to various sites around the City of Edmonton. Operate skid steer safely to clear snow at several sites, primarily parking lots and yards. Operate in winter conditions at any hour, day or night shift, depending on when snowfall occurs. Use radio/ cell phone to communicate with crew. Maintain precise time log and complete work orders accurately. Use google maps on smart phone to navigate.

One year minimum experience clearing snow with skid steer. Must be able to work with others, take direction, and hold safety as a priority. Must be comfortable working at night, and comfortable working alone. Must have valid drivers license with a clean abstract, a class 3 license with airbrakes is an asset. If you have a class 3 airbrakes license I can give you double the hours as we haul snow after clearing.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Skid Steer Snow Removal: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers License + Clean Abstract (required)
- Class 3 License with Air Brakes (preferred)

Work Location: In person
