Cleaner/janitor

**Duties**:

- Perform general janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
- Maintain cleanliness of high-traffic areas, including hallways, lobbies, and break rooms
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the manager
- Adhere to health and safety regulations
- Having a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is a strong benefit

**Skills**:

- Experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes
- Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and supervisors and building residence

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
