Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Perform daily cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in all areas of the office and manufacturing facility, including production areas, offices, restrooms, and break rooms.
- Disinfect and sanitize all surfaces, including floors, walls, equipment, and machinery, using appropriate cleaning agents.
- Empty trash and recycling bins, and transport waste to designated areas for disposal.
- Maintain and restock supplies, such as paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap, in restrooms and break rooms.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as floor buffers, vacuums, and power washers.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Facilities Manager.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while performing cleaning tasks.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including attendance, punctuality, and dress code.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager or production supervisors.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a cleaner, janitor, or housekeeper, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment, such as floor buffers, vacuums, and power washers.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with mínimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

About us:
**Salary**: $15.65-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Abbotsford, BC V2T 6B1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)
