ABOUT THE ROLE
The Concerts team is responsible for the distribution of royalties earned via live performances across Canada. You will be assisting in many aspects of that process, including but not limited to researching concerts and venues, collecting setlists, identifying songs so that the appropriate songwriters and publishers receive compensation, etc.

WHAT YOU’LL DO / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct concert research (identify performers, venues, promoters, etc.)
- Assist with work identification, including foreign artists’ catalogs.
- Assist with unidentified work research (this involves determining who the songwriters/publishers of the works are)
- Prepare/setup concerts for distribution in our system.
- Add foreign music repertoire to SOCAN database.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING / QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Currently enrolled in post-secondary education.
- Available to work 35 hours a week, May through August.
- Ability to manage workload effectively including planning, organizing, prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
- Strong communication (both written and verbal) skills.
- Dynamic, energetic, and self-motivated.
