The Baker is responsible for creating delicious flavours of Biscotti and Meringues. In addition to baking, the Baker should be comfortable with working with others, as well as basic food preparation knowledge. **Responsibilities**: - Prepare ingredients for baking according to recipes but also with a keen eye toward taste, texture, and color; in short, you are as much a part of our creative team as any baker is. - Make sure that your finished goods are stored properly for optimum freshness and quality. - Keep the bakery workspace clean and organized; check ingredient inventory; monitor the ovens, oven temperatures, and cooling racks; maintain a clean work environment. **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent **Benefits**: - Dental care - Discounted or free food - Extended health care Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Monday to Friday - Weekend availability Ability to commute/relocate: - North Saanich, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Application question(s): - Do you have any baking experience?
