NRK is a comprehensive Mechanical Construction and project management firm which has been in business for over 35 years. NRK is seeking a results-oriented Junior Project Coordinator to join their team.
**Key Roles & Responsibilities**:
- Act as a direct support to Mechanical Construction Project Managers in coordination of multiple projects and service requests, including executing project plans and coordinating site access
- Track and document correspondence, change and purchase orders
- Participate in the tracking of project milestones and maintenance of project schedule
- Prepare for project close out by collecting warranties, manuals and other documents
- Issue purchase orders for materials used on construction sites
- Coordinate and liason with trades, sub-contractors, suppliers, clients and consultants
- Perform general administrative and recordkeeping functions including the review and distribution of documentation; preparation of correspondence and meeting minutes; maintenance of files, logs, drawings, specifications, submittals and RFIs
- Maintain project/service request database and prepare reports
- Assist Estimator with bid preparations when required
- Perform other related duties as assigned
**Skills / Abilities**:
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to track multiple details, prioritize and handle high volume of time critical commitments, simultaneously
- Excellent planning and time management skills with attention to detail
- Excellent documentation skills
- Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently of direct supervision in a team environment across multiple organization levels
- Self-motivator and responsible attitude
**Basic Qualifications**:
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in Mechanical construction industry
- Post-Secondary Diploma or Certificate
- Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
