The Marketing and Communication Manager will design, create, and deliver successful marketing communication programs to support the company’s business objectives effectively. MARCOM managers are responsible for developing plans for our communication channels within the framework of our global MARCOM strategy. To plan and execute the measures, and to measure the success.

Reports to: Regional CEO

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for the marketing communication in Canada and the US
- Contact person for marketing inquiries from Canada and the US
- Develop, design and implement social media strategies (e.g. LinkedIn), action plans and create engaging content for various channels and audiences while working closely with the marketing and communications teams within DSI Underground to ensure a consistent look and tone
- Responsibilities will span the full range of content - from participating in marketing campaigns to writing copy for user guides and case studies
- Research topics relevant to the industry, develop ideas for new content, and proofread various texts before publication
- Control of campaigns, monitor and optimization with the help of targeted tools
- Conception and design of print media from draft to final artwork (brochures, product folders, flyers, advertisements, trade fair displays) Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
- Management of external service providers (graphic designers, advertising agencies, printers, monitoring services) and budget control
- Implement and update content maintenance of the internet pages, coordinate the implementation with external agencies as project owners using various software
- Execute market analyses, competition observations and surveys
- Plan and execute trade fairs and specialist congresses
- Conception and creation of PowerPoint presentations for the management and operational units
- Provide administrative support to the CEO
- Coordinate travel arrangements for the senior management team
- Participate in site activities

**REQUIRED COMPETENCIES**
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical mindset and love for technology
- High level of social competence and ability to contribute to a positive, supportive working culture
- Proactive personality, hands on mentality and self-starter
- Knowledge of MS Office, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Network (agencies, vendors, third parties)
- Professional copywriting for social media and case studies
- High English level (min. C1), as well as High French level (min. C1)

**EXPERIENCE**
- Min. 3-5 years of professional work experience in related areas
- 1 year in similar industries
- Experience in creating design content with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign Lightroom, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro
- Experience working with social media channels, planning, and executing online campaigns, and analyzing success

**EDUCATION**
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing & Communication
