North Bay, Canada Bioped Footcare Full time

Looking for summer work? Join our team at Bioped Footcare in North Bay as a Lab Technician. Our fast-paced clinic is looking for someone to assist with the manufacturing of custom foot orthotics and shoe modifications in our on-site manufacturing lab. The position can start immediately and runs until the end of August, with an opportunity for extension. Full training is provided.

**Responsibilities**:

- Use CAD/CAM software to operate our 3D milling machine
- Fabricate custom foot orthotics using a variety of hand-made methods
- Perform structural modifications to footwear
- Follow instructions with a focus on high quality work

**Qualifications**:

- A team player with excellent communication skills
- Comfortable working with your hands using a variety of power tools.
- Comfortable working with computers and technology
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Able to follow health and safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
- Able to be on your feet for long periods of time with some lifting required

Schedule
- Approximately 30 to 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, no weekends
- Approximately 5-6 hours per shift

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Schedule:
