**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Inventory Sourcing**: Acquire pre-owned luxury handbags, accessories, and jewelry through consignors, walk-in sellers, and trusted networks.
- **Authentication**: Perform preliminary authentication checks using brand-specific guidelines and tools.
- **Market Research**: Stay updated on fashion trends, resale market pricing, and seasonal demand to make informed buying decisions.
- **Negotiation**: Negotiate purchase prices to ensure healthy margins while maintaining strong relationships with sellers and suppliers.
- **Relationship Management**: Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing sellers, consignors, and high-value clients to secure repeat inventory.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure all purchased items meet our strict standards for authenticity, condition, and resale potential.
- **Documentation & Compliance**: Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and consignment agreements.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the sales and e-commerce teams to align buying strategy with current sales trends and customer preferences.
**Qualifications**:
- **Experience**: Minimum 2 years in luxury fashion buying, personal shopping, or related field (resale experience is a plus).
- **Brand Knowledge**: In-depth knowledge of brands like Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Goyard, Dior, Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, etc.
- **Negotiation Skills**: Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
- **Analytical Skills**: Ability to analyze market trends and pricing data.
- **Detail-Oriented**: Excellent attention to detail for authentication and quality control.
- **Tech-Savvy**: Proficient with Microsoft Office/Google Suite; experience with inventory systems a plus.
