The Quality Assurance Intern will work as a member of our Software Engineering team to provide input into testability requirements, assist in maintaining the product roadmap, and evaluate technologies that may be incorporated into our solutions, etc. Visible minority youth studying computer science, engineering, or other relevant fields are encouraged to apply.

Additionally, Get A-Head will provide mentoring to support the growth of the youth's career and development. Learning outcomes for this role are as follows: digital skills (APIs, OWASP, Git, etc.), problem-solving, collaboration, adaptability, etc.

Objectives of this Role
- Gain a high-level understand of the software process and QA Lifecycle
- Work with other QA engineers to identify areas of focus for internship
- Collaborate as a member of our Software Engineering team
- Gain understanding of the Tools used for Testing and Automation
- Understand the need of documentation and collaborate with QA team in creating those

**Responsibilities**:

- Validate features for functionality, performance, security, and scalability.
- Perform regression testing and defect tracking
- Involved in automation testing and product documentation
- Attend daily stand-ups and team meetings
