At the Cobblestone Liquor Store, we value building strong connections with our customers, creating a culture of care, leading by example, and having some fun along the way As a Retail Sales Associate, you will embody these values and be an integral part of our team.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provide professional and friendly service to our valued customers, always exceeding their expectations.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring a visually appealing atmosphere for our customers.
- Conduct sales transactions with accuracy and efficiency, utilizing both cash and credit card systems.
- Assist with restocking and rotating stock, ensuring our shelves are always well-stocked and visually enticing.
- Adhere to the laws and regulations related to liquor sales, including conducting ID checks, and possess a valid Serving It Right certification.
- identify opportunities for improved staff and customer experiences, including safety hazards, and actively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

**REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Valid Serving It Right certification (Can be obtained pre-hire)
- A positive mindset
- Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively engage with customers and team members.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish connections.
- A team-oriented personality, willing to collaborate and support fellow team members.
- Physically capable of bending, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 50lb.
- Demonstrates strong customer service skills and a desire to create a positive guest experience.
- Comfortable and accurate in conducting sales transactions using a point-of-sale system.

**BONUS SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**:

- Previous experience in specialty retail, showcasing your expertise and understanding of customer needs is a plus.
- Knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits, allowing you to provide informed product recommendations.
