The Home Depot Canada’s Brand Content Strategy team is looking for a Marketing Specialist, Creative Production, to help engage our customers and associates through storytelling and strategic content creation.
- Partner with creative agencies & internal marketing teams on the briefing and delivery of campaign creative including tv, video, photography, social and display media
- Lead production schedules, creative reviews and approvals
- Work collaboratively to curate article SKU lists & product transports for commercial shoots
- Participate in naming & logo development exercises, campaign style guides and manage seasonal logo tracker
- Accelerate creative integration across owned channels & facilitate creative sharing across teams
- Participate in creative briefings and reviews with internal teams and external agency partners - collaborating with Marketing, Digital, Planning, Public Relations and Merchandising
- Attend video & photo shoots, actively participating in casting, wardrobe, and post-production reviews
- Assist in creative ideation and execution of internal content for a variety of business objectives
- Manage workflow between the creative agencies, marketing & planning, negotiating trade-offs and problem solving along the way
- Lead independently on projects while effectively communicating to manage key stakeholders
- Advocate for diverse and inclusive representation of all groups within content production and casting
- Maintain a “One Home Depot” mentality; understand the key drivers for effective creative across our business and the synergies that can help drive efficiencies
Experience/Skills Required:
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience
- Interest or work experience in marketing, advertising, production, project management, content creation, photography or videography considered an asset
- Experience with video production (pre & post) as well as deep knowledge of digital and social creative development
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills with an ability to work within a fast paced, dynamic environment while balancing multiple priorities with tight deadlines
- Teamwork, strong customer service and an ability to build relationships across all levels
- Strong creative communication skills, resourceful, organized and detail oriented
- Curious mindset and a change agent. Ability to problem-solve with the capability to articulate constructive and realistic solutions
- Driven by results and continuous improvement
- Works well with ambiguity
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Valid Driver’s License and access to a car considered an asset
