**Job description - Cook**

Under the direction of the Manager, Food Services, preparing, storing and serving menu items, and cooks foods in accordance with established nutritional standards and practice to ensure optimum nutritional content and suitability to residents’ needs. Perform related cooking duties as required in accordance with established procedures.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Red Seal Certification
- Graduation from recognized 12 month in cooking
- Plus one year recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

**Job description - Dietary Aide**

Under the direction of the Manager, Food Services, performs a variety of food service duties such as setting tables, portioning and serving meals, washing and peeling vegetables and fruit, preparing items such as tea, coffee, and toast, and washing dishes and utensils, clears and cleans dining tables, damp mopping floors, washing dishes, and cleaning surfaces in accordance with established procedures.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Grade 10, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Food Safe Certificate

**SKILLS AND ABILITIES**:

- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Ability to organize work.
- Ability to operate related equipment.

Please note that successful applicants will be required to have a criminal record check, medical and TB check at own cost.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $24.34-$27.56 per hour
