Now Hiring: Dietary Aide (Casual) Location: Point Grey Private Hospital – Vancouver, BC About Point Grey Private Hospital Point Grey, significantly expanded and improved in 2020, offers 153 licensed residential care beds consisting of primarily single occupancy rooms. Point Grey boasts views of the mountains and ocean as well as large windows and homelike furnishings. This home has four stories with a dining area, recreation areas and a large outdoor patio on each floor. The desirable location and freshly decorated interior provide our clients with a comfortable and homelike environment. What You’ll Do Maintains a safe, clean and organized kitchen and storage area Supports the Chef/Cook in the kitchen, so it runs to time with having snacks and meals prepared ready to serve Helps direct portions sizes are appropriated and requested taking into consideration likes, dislikes and allergies Maintains a log for the fat trap maintenance and emptying Ensures a safe, clean and secure environment in the kitchen and dining room for staff, residents and visitors Attends Infection Control meetings once every two months What You Bring Work experience of at least one year and knowledge in cooking preferable Safe Food Handling level one and WHMIS certificate Good written and verbal communication Demonstrates good time management Flexibility to work independently Physically and mentally able to perform duties for above position Caring and considerate attitude to residents, visitors and staff of Point Grey Private Hospital What We Offer Competitive wages On-site parking The opportunity to work in a modern, well-equipped facility A supportive and respectful team environment Be Part of Something Meaningful If you're a Dietary Aide looking to grow your career while making a positive impact, we want to hear from you.
