**About us**

SMC Automation & Tooling Ltd. is a machine shop located in Brampton, ON. We are professional, fast-paced, supportive. We have served our customer base for over twenty five years. The position is Full-time with full group benefits. We work a day shifts, 40 hours per week with many growth opportunities.

MACHINIST with 5 years Experience, Knowledge of hand tools and power tools, understanding blueprints, charts and tables. Experience in making fittings/jigs and assembling parts. Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and Vernier calipers. Producing machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders. Our Quality Control expects that you measure, examine and inspect completed parts an ongoing basis to ensure job is within tolerance.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
