**General Responsibilities**

The **Counter Sales Representative** is an essential member of the airport location team and is the brand ambassador, providing the fastest, easiest, and most valued experience to our customers. This sales commissioned team member provides world class customer service and professionally and effectively sells Hertz products and services to meet the customer’s travel needs.

The key responsibilities and accountability are:

- Effectively communicate and offer ancillary products and services to enhance customer’s travel experience.
- Strong emphasis on selling and revenue maximization on core products such as, but not limited to, options to waive customer’s responsibility of damage, fuel options and vehicle upsells.
- Achieve personal sales goals while supporting the goals of the team.
- Work in a fast paced sales environment, providing helpful, quality service and sales, while enhancing the customer’s rental experience.
- Provide world class customer service by managing the rentals and returns process, in compliance with Hertz’s policies and procedures
- Qualify and process customer rentals with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Drive continuous improvement by communicating customer feedback to team and engaging in action planning to improve operational performance and customer satisfaction.
- Resolve customer issues and concerns professionally using effective customer service techniques.
- Maintain appearance appropriate for providing best in class customer service in accordance with established guidelines.

Le **représentant des ventes au comptoir**joue un rôle essentiel au sein de l’équipe de la succursale aéroportuaire et est l’ambassadeur de la marque, faisant vivre à nos clients l’expérience la plus rapide, la plus facile et la plus appréciée qui soit. Ce membre de l’équipe touchant des commissions de vente offre un service à la clientèle de premier ordre et vend les produits et services de Hertz de manière professionnelle et efficace afin de répondre aux besoins des clients en matière de déplacements.

Ses responsabilités et fonctions principales sont les suivantes:

- Communiquer efficacement et offrir des produits et services auxiliaires dans le but de rehausser l’expérience des clients.
- Mettre fortement l’accent sur la vente des produits de base, notamment, mais sans s’y limiter, les options permettant de dégager les clients de la responsabilité des dommages, les options pour le carburant et les surclassements, ainsi que sur la maximisation des revenus découlant de ces produits.
- Atteindre ses objectifs de vente personnels tout en soutenant les objectifs de l’équipe.
- Travailler dans un environnement au rythme rapide, en offrant un service utile et de qualité et en réalisant des ventes tout en rehaussant l’expérience de location des clients.
- Offrir un service à la clientèle de premier ordre en gérant les locations et les retours conformément aux politiques et aux procédures de Hertz.
- Valider et traiter les locations avec exactitude et en accordant de l’attention aux détails.
- Favoriser une amélioration continue du service en communiquant les rétroactions des clients à l’équipe et en participant à l’élaboration du plan d’action pour améliorer le rendement opérationnel et la satisfaction de la clientèle.
- Résoudre les problèmes des clients et répondre à leurs préoccupations de manière professionnelle, en utilisant des techniques de service à la clientèle efficaces.
- Conserver une présentation adéquate de manière à offrir un service à la clientèle de premier ordre, conformément aux lignes directrices établies.

**Mandatory Requirements**

**Educational Background**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent

**Professional Experiences**:

- A minimum of one year of sales or customer experience in a high volume or service oriented environment
- Passion for customer service and attention to detail - Goes the extra mile
- Proven strong sales and closing skills and the ability to friendly, engaging manner
- Motivated to achieve and exceed targeted goals

**Knowledge**:

- Strong computer proficiency, including typing skills and the ability to navigate through multiple computer systems
- Proficiency in English

Must be able to:

- Have the competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a commission-based environment.
- Work in a fast paced environment with a variety of tasks. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrate sales, professionalism and interpersonal skills.
- Show a high level of ownership, accountability and initiative.
- Show proven experience of working well within a team.
- Work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays; and work overtime as required.
- Work outdoors during all weather conditions.
- Stand for long periods of time.
